Event Description

Teachers who have experience teaching CS Fundamentals and are looking to dive deeper or get more support are welcome to join us at our newest professional development workshop, CS Fundamentals Deep Dive 

What teachers will learn: 

  • The details, philosophy, values, and rationale behind how CS Fundamentals is structured
  • The intended approach to teaching CS Fundamentals, including specific classroom practices
  • Personalized strategies to bring more computer science to their students

 

What teachers will leave with: 

  • Strategies for addressing roadblocks to implementation
  • Ideas for fostering a strong classroom rapport that nurtures all kinds of learners
  • A deepened sense of community with other CS Fundamentals teachers 

Logistics

Lunch will be provided. If you have special dietary needs, please bring your own food. You MUST BYOT (Bring Your Own Technology)... Laptops, iPads, Tablet, Chargers.
