We will host this event as an interactive virtual training.

A limited number of scholarships are available to cover the full registration cost for the virtual Cybersecurity Fundamentals workshop on July 9-10, 2020. Apply today! 

WeTeach_CS has partnered with NICERC to offer a workshop based on the NICERC curricula.

Participants will gain access to free Cybersecurity curricula by NICERC that is rigorous, relevant, and aligned to the TEKS for the new Introduction to Cybersecurity course. Additionally, participants will be led through a number of lessons in the curricula so they can make immediate and effective use of it upon return to their classrooms. During the workshop, teachers will be given temporary access to an online cyber range resource so they may practice the hands-on components of the content in a supportive setting.

Eligible Attendees

This workshop is appropriate for high school educators that will be teaching Foundations of Cybersecurity and/or those interested in learning more about cybersecurity standards and the course.

Certificates of Participation 

Certificates stating 14 hours of Continuing Professional Education hours (CPE credits) earned will be sent electronically after the participant has completed the online course evaluation.
