Event Description

Prior programming experience is strongly recommended for this course. This introductory programming class will provide teachers with foundational knowledge in Java programming, beginning with simple output techniques to data types, operators, conditionals and loops. More complex data structures such as arrays and ArrayLists will also be covered.

Thu. June 17 - 1 hr - Unit 3 Live Help Session / Conditional Statements
6/18-6/23 - 3 hrs - Unit 4 work - asynchronous
Thu. June 24 - 1 hr - Unit 4 Live Help Session / Iteration - for Loops
6/25-7/5 - 3 hrs - Unit 5 work - asynchronous
Tue. July 6 - 1 hr - Unit 5 Live Help Session and Final Meeting / Arrays and the Enhanced for Loop

Tuesday, July 13, 2021 - Final Deadline for Quiz and Lab Completion

Certificates of Participation - Certificates stating 21 hours of Continuing Professional Education hours (CPE credits) earned will be sent electronically after the participant has completed the online course evaluation.
