Event Description
Educators will leave the TEKS aligned training with an overview of the new introductory survey course, Foundations of Cybersecurity along with resources to engage and implement concepts in their classroom.
Eligible Attendees – This workshop is appropriate for high school educators that will be teaching Foundations of Cybersecurity and/or those interested in learning more about the standards and course.
Cost – $400.00 per participant for this 2-day workshop.
Certificates of Participation - Certificates stating 14 hours of Continuing Professional Education hours (CPE credits) earned will be sent electronically after the participant has completed the online course evaluation. Any questions about certificates should be directed toward the contact person listed on this page.

Payments are due before this event.
Refunds will not be issued for cancellations or those not in attendance.

PARTICIPANTS MUST CREATE A UTEID AND PASSWORD IN ORDER TO REGISTER FOR ANY EVENT.

Payment Information and Instructions
The only two accepted methods of payments are credit card and check. We do NOT use/accept purchase orders.
Paying with a credit card will instantly secure your single registration and/or will grant you immediate access to any purchased seats/codes.
Paying with a check will reserve a spot and/or multiple seats/codes, but these will only become confirmed/active after payment is received and processed by our office. This process may take up to three weeks to occur. You will be notified by email when your payment is received and processed.
An invoice is automatically generated and emailed to you by the system once you have selected “Pay with Check” or “Pay with Credit Card.” A PDF of your invoice is also available on your dashboard. The registration confirmation email will contain all of the necessary information you need to provide to your business offices regarding credit card payment records and check processing instructions.
Checks must be made out to “The University of Texas at Austin” and mailed to the attention of Nathalie Beausoleil, along with the printed invoice, to the address below.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation and lodging arrangements and payments.
For your convenience, a copy of the Texas Hotel Occupancy Tax Exempt form is provided and should be printed and turned in to your hotel upon arrival.
